Friday 15th April – Big Dogs!
We had a lovely time with mum, Alan, Copper’s mum and dad and all (Monty, Copper, Bonny and I) ran round and round, mad dashes everywhere. We were so busy mum could not take a picture (even though she tried). Then I did something naughty, while Bonny was trying to catch up with the other two, I drifted away unnoticed. It all became a wonderful adventure, “freedom” I thought and I pottered around here and there, not even noticing I had left the group. Strangely it was quite some time before the humans noticed I had disappeared but when they did they all walked around calling “HECTOR!” but I pretended not to hear and carried on pottering as Scotties’ do. Where was I when mum found me? I was teasing two of the biggest dogs I have ever seen and they were being so good mum took their picture.
Lennox is a Rottweiler and Sizzler is a African Bull Mastiff. They are big, big dogs. Their human held on to them tightly and mum took their picture. Their human, Les has a little girl (it is policy on this blog NOT to take pictures of the children we meet for reasons of safety) and Les tells mum Lennox and Sizzler are gentle giants at home.

Hector, You’ve got to savour those ‘freedom moments’. We ignore our names, too unless we think we can be caught easily or may be in big trouble.
Bella always teases big dogs. We find most of them are gentle.

Hi Kendra, Daisy and Bella,
I am afraid the urge to be free has overwhelmed me. Now I just want to escape the garden. Mum thinks it might be my age, Bonny doesnt care and in fact, likes the peace but now I am leaded everywhere and it is really boring!
Thank you for your support girls. I knew I could count on you.

Hi Hector,
Thanks for coming to see me today!! I love new friends!! I have never made a quilt with scotties on it, but I am thinking of making a shopping bag with a scottie on it and have a give-a-way. What do you think about that??
