Dogs Everywhere and Sheeba too

Posted in Uncategorized by scottishdogs on April 20, 2010

Well, there were lots of us this morning and it all happened so fast.  First there was Monty with Alan and then Copper ran over to say hello with her mum and finally Brandy joined in the fun and they all had a good play.  I say ‘they’, because mum kept Bonny and I on a lead so we just watched the mad dashes and rolling fun!  Mum didn’t even try to take their pictures because all the dogs ran so fast.

However, mum did take a picture of Sheba who is a rescue dog she has been meaning to tell you about for some time.  You see, Sheba, who is a calm still dog, often walks around the park with her owner Dez and we have often noticed how lovely Sheba is.  Sheba has a shiny luxurious coat of auburn and she is very pretty.  Dez and his wife rescued Sheba about four years ago and before then she had been badly treated by her previous unkind owners.  Sheba loves her orange ball and sometimes drops it at mum’s feet for her to throw!  Dez says that although Sheba is a quiet dog on the park, when someone knocks on the door she sounds so loud “you would think she was a Rottweiler”.  Sheba is one of those dogs who can walk right through a melee of mad chasing dogs and not bat an eyelid!

After our walk Bonny and I took to “garden duty” and were very puzzled by the sounds coming from the other side of the fence.  So we took a look…

  1. You know, you guys are really handsome and beautiful Scotties. Like the “old” breed. I’m a bit more squatty than you two. Y’all are long and lean. Really pretty to look at. Roodles! Stuart

      Hi Stuart

Our mum thinks you are a very handsome young man. The white blaze on your back is very attractive and we love looking at your pics!

  2. That was a bit unfair–not getting off the lead! Is that because you just had a bath? We’re glad Sheeba has a good home now.

Yes it was unkind we were kept on a lead, especially as the other dogs were having so much fun. You see Bonny had been naughty and was being punished, and I have a sly habit of wandering off…..
