Granny’s Bag

Posted in Uncategorized by scottishdogs on May 16, 2010

Why is there a travel bag in our hallway?  What does this mean?  We don’t like it, not one bit.  It belongs to our other human, our wobbly granny, I can tell from the scent.  So what is going on?  She is reading the paper quite happily but I can sense she has a plan.  As soon as we sleep she will be off with her bag and stick, off somewhere new and exciting.  But what if she falls and I am not there?  What will happen then?  Think I will sneak out with her, or maybe send Bonny…. Now that’s an idea, send Bonny away….Yes, it could work.  I wonder how much room is in that travel bag?

Send Bonny with Granny. Perfect!

Ahhh…..better plan. Grab her wobbly stick and hide it or chew it up. Then the 2 of you get the bag handles and haul it off and hide it too. She needs to stay put so she can give you scritches and cuddles.

      Hi Bonnie

Hadn’t thought of chewing wobbly stick, hmm, might do that on her return. Alternatively, might encourage Bonny to do it….then she gets to be “bad dog” – or her shoes. Yes, Bonny loves those!!

We HATE that baggie thing. When it’s out, we can’t settle. We follow Alpha around everywhere. Now, she takes us to the kennel before she gets the baggie thing out!

Good idea about sending Bonny, we all need some only dog time.

Your human is even more sneaky than mine, what with kennels before bags. This offers you girls little opportunity to prevent departure.

Glad you understand about the ‘only dog thing’ – you have no idea what it was like BB (Before Bonny) when mum just spent time with me. Ahh, those were the days my friends…
