Mad Dogs and Englishmen

Posted in Derby,Hector's Diary,Puppy pics,Scotti Dog Blog,Scottish Terriers by scottishdogs on May 22, 2010

Scotties like me do not like hot weather, its in our genes and we are not mad neither. So we are inside, bonny and me, where we can sleep until it cools. Had early walk (was hot even then) where we met Brandy and Adi but it too hot for mountain(eering) so let my human put me on lead and we trotted home. She has it on her, what with hoovering and mopping kitchen floor and spraying stuff. Think it is probably because wobbly gran is coming back on Tuesday (at dawn) so she wants things done by then. Hope it cools down by Tuesday as not sure how I will cope what with monitoring two humans and all.

Here are some more pics from my youth.

Are you watching me?

Burying pens was my favourite activity. Still like (destroying) pens even now.

It get VERY hot here. We don’t like the heat either. We have our main walkies before the sun comes up in summer, and a shorter one when it goes down. This time of year we have a real fight getting Alpha out before the sun comes up.

I was kind of cutsey when young. But then weren’t we all? How are those lambshanks going down?
