Rainy Day

Posted in Derby,Granny,Hector's Diary,Osmaston Park,Scotti Dog Blog,Scottish Terriers by scottishdogs on May 29, 2010

We still get walked every morning, even on rainy days like today.  We paused on the door step and looked out (horrified) but she kept on moving, so off we went.  Park empty, so all ours and we sniffled and snuffled around, like Scotties do.  Home afterwards fun – our human snuggles us in the old pink (Barbie!!!) beach towel kept specially for these occasions.  She rubs the wetness out and we play “get out from under the towel fast” and “rub me, rub me!”.  That isn’t enough though, so then we rub the moisture out on the carpet.  Best place to dry oneself is on my mum’s bed.  Better still, wobbly gran’s, especially if she in it!

Just a little lie down after all that drying

That resting place must be on a pillow and that pillow must be the highest one in the house!

Yes, height is important to a little dog!

We don’t go for walkies on a wet day. Alpha keeps saying it’s written in our contract. We don’t actually mind too much as long as we still get our biscuit bone for breakfast. But when the rain stops, we’re ready to go. I LOVE paddling in puddles, but get dragged away very quickly and we don’t like the rub down much afterwards.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

I love puddles but not quite as much as Cookie Mudpuddle, he loves them!
