Today I am on shoe duty. Its important, this, and here I am resting my poor tired head (not) ready in case wobbly gran should lower her feet and slip them on. She does not move around much (unlike she, who never keeps still and tends to keep shoes on) so I can be sure of some peace while still in command. This is of mutual benefit, as gran often warms her feet on my back. Can’t complain, had nice walk (despite the you-know-what) and had a good run with a poodle who was great fun (didn’t expect that) but she was. Bonny is confined to lead ‘cos she is a snapper and she has grown tired of intercepting/preventing/apologising for Bonny’s behaviour. Doesn’t Bonny know that she would have much more fun if she was friendly and bouncy like me?
News of John, he is returning an invalid – had an operation (not serious) so the women here are preparing favourite food (yum) and fluffing pillows ready (again, yum) in preparation. You know, I feel quite privileged in being able to climb the stairs.
