Welcoming John Home

Ten days to go until Bonny’s babies are due and still counting….

News on Bonny: She is fine, sleeps a lot, needs coaxing with special treats on top of food (tuna, or sml amount of grated cheese) to encourage her to eat. She is still her loving self but reduced to one walk a day as these now take about two hours.

News on me!

I am not even sorry. You trying living with a pregnant woman and see how you feel!

New birthing pen!

News generally…

As you have probably guessed my humans don’t really know what they are doing with Bonny’s birth and my guess is that Bonny knows more than they do, he he he. So they have abandoned the box idea and (wait for it) have decided to try an upside down (old) table!!! It’s already in position and she has put Bonny’s blankets inside. I slept in it last night and found it very comfortable….

You know, we Scotties really love our families and welcoming John home is a pleasure made extra special as he brings the morning sun!

He lies on the floor and we have a great snuggly play with our giant boy!

And delighted to report that wobbly gran is feeling much better these days, almost not wobbling any more.

And even though she is pregnant and even though I complain about her, Bonny is still my lovely pretty girl.

John sounds like lots of fun. The upside down table looks good. We’re glad you tested it out for Bonny to be sure it’s comfortable. You’re very considerate.

What a handsome picture of you two and John. Mom loves red hair…
Bonny take it easy and enjoy all the TLC you are getting now that you have babes in the oven.

The upside down table looks great – we had previously used an old bookcase (with no shelves in it) but now use the top of a large dog crate. You’ll have that washer and dryer going all the time before long. It takes a lot of sheets to keep that baby bed clean – I found that baby powder between the sheets helps a LOT!! I can hardly wait.
